Job Summary: |
Under supervision of the Operations Coordinator, the Recreation Attendant will enforce all SRC policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for its members and guests. You will also be required to provide excellent customer service and have an understanding of SRC programs and services. This position requires you to be on your feet for several hours at a time, and posess the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. |
Essential Job Functions: |
· Adhere to and assist in the enforcement of the policies and procedures of the University, Associated Students, Inc., CSUF, and Titan Recreation · Conduct customer service in a courteous and professional manner to customers and all other employees · Maintain facilities in a safe and clean condition to permit participation by members and guests · Monitor general operations and events to insure facilities and equipment are used properly · Utilize operations software to complete required checklists and monitor capacities · Assist with the checking in of the fitness classes · Assist Titan Recreation staff and Building Manager with general oversight of spaces as it pertains to cleanliness, capacity and overall functioning of the space · Assist with preparing and maintaining building for daily operation · Assist with general building comfort and cleanliness · Maintain strict adherence to safety procedures · Conduct thorough cleaning of machines, surfaces and equipment throughout the facility · Assist with laundry needs of the general operation and other Titan Recreation departments · Monitor and help maintain locker room and restroom cleanliness, report any deficiencies to building managers or custodial staff · Assist patrons as needed in the locker room to maintain adequate customer service · Report any malfunction of lights, doors, locks, and other building systems to Titan Recreation staff · Attend mandatory meetings as scheduled · Other duties as assigned |

· Establishes and maintains working relationships with various A.S. and University departments |
Safety: |
· Ensures all operations are conducted with safety of staff and customers as first priority, and in accordance with the Injury and Illness Prevention Plan and other safety policies. · Reports accidents to supervisor and reviews changes required to avoid reoccurrence. · Reports maintenance problems and/or broken and unsafe equipment to the appropriate party or supervisor immediately |
Requirements: |
Must be a currently enrolled California State University Fullerton student in good academic standing |
